Retirement Plan Participant Consultant
**Compensation:** $65,000 - $100,000 and bonus eligible
**Location:** Philadelphia, PA (position can be fully remote but hybrid is preferred)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retirement Plan Participant Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on the financial education of employees participating in retirement plans across the regional area. You will assist in providing options for their 401(k), 403(b), and other retirement plans, helping participants achieve their retirement goals. Additionally, you will foster relationships and create opportunities for referrals to our wealth management advisors through group and individual financial education meetings.
This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote schedule, with travel requirements of approximately 15-20%.
Responsibilities:
- **Educate Participants:** Speak with clients on a one-on-one or group basis to educate them about their retirement plans.
- **Conduct Meetings:** Provide financial education meetings both in person and virtually.
- **Serve as a Point of Contact:** Act as the primary contact and lead financial education for plan participants.
- **Client Interaction:** Actively engage with clients and their employees to ensure the delivery of service expectations.
- **Meeting Preparation and Follow-up:** Prepare for meetings in advance and ensure follow-up and execution of deliverables following the meetings.
- **Compliance:** Consult with internal ERISA teams to ensure proper compliance regarding all client matters.
- **Prompt Correspondence:** Provide prompt correspondence and resolve questions or issues accurately and timely.
Knowledge and Skills:
- **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Client Relationships:** Experience in managing and building client relationships.
- **Retirement Plan Knowledge:** Preferred knowledge of retirement plans.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent written communication skills.
- **Self-Starter:** Ability to make sound independent decisions.
- **Interpersonal Skills:** Successfully interact with a variety of people/personalities.
- **Leadership:** Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- **Analytical Skills:** Technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- **Professionalism:** Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner.
- **Attention to Detail:** Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and problem resolution.
Education and/or Experience:
- **Education:** A college degree or related experience is preferred.
- **Language Skills:** Bilingual - Spanish language fluency is preferred.
