Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Alternate Administrator with a strong background in Medicare regulations to lead our home health care agency in Florida. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:

    • Oversee the overall operations of the home health care agency, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, particularly Medicare guidelines.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and promote high-quality patient care.
  • Clinical Oversight:

    • Ensure that patient care plans are developed and implemented effectively, meeting the unique needs of each client.
    • Monitor clinical performance and outcomes, driving quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on changes in Medicare regulations and ensure agency compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
    • Prepare for and participate in agency surveys and audits conducted by regulatory bodies.
  • Staff Development:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of professional development and excellence.
    • Conduct regular training sessions on best practices, Medicare requirements, and agency policies.
  • Patient and Family Relations:

    • Act as a primary contact for patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
    • Promote effective communication among patients, families, and the care team.
  • Financial Management:

    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing practices and adherence to Medicare reimbursement guidelines.
    • Assist in budget development and resource allocation to support agency operations.
Qualifications:

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
