Are you a creative thinker who dreams big? The Plexus Groupe is looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at our Deer Park, IL headquarters office in Summer 2025. SUMMARY:
As a Marketing Intern, you will gain valuable real-world work experience as it relates to in-house marketing at an insurance brokerage and risk management firm. You will collaborate with the entire marketing team, working on both internal and client-facing marketing initiatives, while gaining insight into the insurance industry.

The Plexus Groupe summer internship program will run from June 2 nd through August 1 st , 2025. As part of our internship program, you will work across various departments on team projects and cross-functional intern initiatives.

Each summer, Plexus partners with the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers’ (CIAB) on their scholarship program allowing one Plexus intern to apply to win a monetary award towards their college education.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop content for internal and external communications
• Design, build, and execute marketing campaigns
• Create digital content for social media
• Prepare presentations and sales decks
• Assist in event planning

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program is required. Majors in Marketing, Journalism, Social Media, or Graphic Design are preferred
• Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college as of fall 2024
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Creative with attention to detail
• Enjoys teamwork and cultivating relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Graphic design skills a plus
• Video production and/or editing skills a plus
• Work experience demonstrating client service skills a plus

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time temporary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
