Join our dynamic Global Marketing Communications team, a truly global and creative force behind Ingredion's Marketing Communications strategies and campaigns. As a Marketing Communications Intern, you'll dive into and lead high-impact projects that will offer you a unique chance to shape new campaigns, thought leadership and will work closely with the Insights, Digital and Category Marketing Centers of Excellence.Your role will consist of:Supporting marketing communications integrated planning and development process; assisting in managing and driving deliverables with internal teams and agency partners.Aiding in developing SOWs and briefs, managing timelines, and building deliverables.Collaborating on communications strategy to enhance position within the marketplace.Participating in thought leadership activities as well as the external positioning of Ingredion in the industry.Participating in strategic and creative design of marketing communications activities and materials including advertising, website, thought leadership, social media, video production, live events, etc.Collaborating with key stakeholders to brainstorm tactics, create messaging, define positioning, and develop content specific to key audiences.Writing and editing copy for range of materials and channels.Measuring and reporting on results to continuously improve.Your profile needs these qualifications:Passion and Interests:A passion for food, the food industry and food technologies with an eagerness to learn more.Creative and very interested in media, digital and content creation; up to date with the latest social media platforms and technology and have excitement for bringing forth great ideas for high-impact marketing and communication initiatives.Skills and Abilities:Excellent organizational and communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills, e.g., making presentations and writing technical data/reports.Working knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Ambitious, able to prioritize, well-organized, good with time management and deadlines.Collaborative, works well with others.Motivated and goal-oriented while ready to ask questions.Requirements:Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.Reliable transportation required to get to and from the facility each workday.You'll need these skills to be successful:Proven ability to deliver under agreed upon deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively with peers and others.Solid teamwork skills and creative problem solving.Desire to see and create results.To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
