What you will do:
– Collect, edit, and manage geospatial data in both raster and vector formats.
– Create maps for a variety of purposes following standard cartographic principles.
– Perform analysis of spatial data dealing with a wide range of subject matter.
– Maintain focus on project delivery and client service with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
What you will have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Geology, Biology, or a related field.
Knowledge: Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro or Desktop.
Experience: 1+ years developing geodatabases, map generation, and data visualization.
Communication: Good verbal and written skills.
Ideals: Professional, positive attitude with strong work ethic.
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsive: Communicate openly, proactively, and promptly.
Travel: Willingness to travel to meet project requirements.
What you might add:
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience, fieldwork component.
Certifications: GISP.
Knowledge: Asset management principles
