About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with a strong background in primary care and a deep commitment to patient-centered, mission-driven healthcare. The CMO will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical activities align with the organization's mission and key strategies, with a focus on providing the highest quality of care to LGBTQIA+ patients and the local community. This role involves leading a team-based, patient-centered service and care delivery model, advancing clinical education and research, and integrating clinical care with public health programs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' progressive leadership experience in clinical operations, a proven track record in driving results, and a strong background in diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have an advanced medical degree, current board certification, and be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Critical leadership capabilities include driving results, collaborating, and influencing, as well as cultural agility and a high level of cultural competence. The CMO will be expected to have established relationships with organizations that promote and provide care to LGBTQIA+ communities and other marginalized groups. Key responsibilities also include promoting a culture of team-based care, ensuring financial sustainability, and overseeing the implementation of quality, patient safety, and patient experience initiatives. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for the organization's mission, with a strong focus on integrity, professionalism, and staff well-being.
