About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to oversee the quality of care and clinical staff, ensuring that all clinical teams are dedicated to the well-being of the patient population. The CMO will be responsible for leading medical initiatives, facilitating the application of evidence-based and safe clinical practices, and maintaining a strong outpatient clinical presence. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to develop and implement new care delivery approaches and programs, as well as recruiting and training medical professionals to support the growth of the organization. Applicants for the CMO position at the company must have an MD or DO degree with a minimum of 10 years' medical practice, be licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Mexico, and meet all credentialing requirements. An advanced business degree or formal executive leadership training is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and facilitating groups of physicians, knowledge of compliance issues in a community clinic environment, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are also essential for this role. The CMO will be expected to develop and implement clinical guidelines, support the growth of health system service lines, and participate in the design of value-based care partnerships.
