BURNCO is hiring a full time Asphalt Plant Operator for our Edmonton Asphalt Operation. Primarily within our Acheson plant with year around work. What You Will Be Doing  

\n
• Directing a production crew of up to 5 workers.
\n
• Daily Plant Maintenance.
\n
• Preventative plant maintenance and repairs.
\n
• Operation of GENCOR 300 TPH Asphalt plants.
\n
• Learning our company safety protocol to execute work safely.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.
\n

What We Would Like from You 

\n
• Minimum 1-year operating Asphalt Production Plants, preference given to those with direct GENCOR plant experience.
\n
• Mechanically inclined and able to work with minimal supervision.
\n
• Must have own Transportation.
\n
• Must be eligible for membership in the Union of Operating Engineers OE955.
\n
• Must have strong supervisory / Communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and be available on short notice. 
\n
• Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.
\n

IMPORTANT:   As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that selected candidate successfully pass comprehensive pre-employment testing that includes a Drug and Alcohol screen and Fitness to Work testing. Please note that we have a zero-tolerance policy for any Cannabis derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose.
